Since our founding as the Cupertino Historical Society in 1966, we have been dedicated to preserving, sharing, and engaging with Cupertino’s history to inspire current and future generations.

As a private institution with little city funding and no state funding, we rely almost entirely on charitable contributions from supporters like you. You know the value of our shared history. Please consider membership and our giving opportunities to help us ensure others experience it, too.

  • Innovative educational programs
  • Compelling lectures and exhibitions
  • Research and digital initiatives

Ways to Give

Gifts to the Annual Fund power the heart of our mission, helping to underwrite exhibitions, events, and programs. These gifts also support our popular lecture series, school and community group Traveling Trunk Programs and activities, multi-generational learning experiences, and other educational programming.  If you prefer to not use credit card online, you can send a check payable to the Cupertino Historical Society to our address found at the bottom of the page. Any employer matching gifts count toward your total annual contribution. Additionally, gifts of appreciated securities offer a number of tax advantages over a cash gift. For more information about gifts of appreciated securities, please contact our Treasurer, Wendell Kerr.

Become an integral part of the Cupertino Historical Society + Museum and community by targeting your support for a specific program or project:

Our volunteers have the opportunity to gain exposure in the workings of a museum and contribute valuable visitor services to our guests. Qualified volunteers should possess a flexible attitude for dealing effectively with the public, proficiency with computers, and an understanding that reliability is critical.

Volunteer positions are open to all individuals who meet the minimum qualifications, without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or disability.
